San Lorenzo Voted One of the Best Courses in Europe

September 29th, 2011

Readers Vote: 21st in Europe

There are a total of 6,794 golf courses in Europe and readers of popular golfing website www.1golf.eu have just voted for their Top 50...

Placing San Lorenzo in at No. 21.

It's easy to see how this rolling course, with its expansive nature reserves, sea views, shore-lines and perfect greens is the recipient of such an accolade...

And it's a fitting tribute to all the hard work and toil that goes in to making San Lorenzo one of the best golfing experiences in the entire world.

Paving the Way for Portuguese Golf

Especially when you consider that the Top 50 was voted on by members of the public from 34 different countries all across Europe. There is no other golf award voted for in such an expansive fashion.

In fact, throughout August, many of the 220,000+ golfers who visit www.1golf.eu each month, cast their vote online - in one of the biggest golfing surveys ever conducted.

The results will be published on their website, as well as in the Albrecht Golf Guide and Discover Golf magazine.
